It is much tougher these days to squeeze out a living from the Internet. While politicians and the corporate elite are getting richer and richer, the middle class is going NO WHERE. We are just getting poorer. And, let's not forget the poor... I know, I know.. we ALL forget about the poor. But, anyway, they are getting even poorer (and more numerous). Apparently we have the ability to borrow to pay billions to Bush's friends, but no enough to allow the average joe to have a decent life.
